Score 94/100 · Drink 2017-2027, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Dec 2014
Layers of blue/blackish fruit, smoke, licorice, menthol and cloves meld together in the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Marston Vineyard, one of the more intensely mineral and savory wines in this range of 2012s. Beautifully chiseled and sculpted throughout, the Marston impresses for its pure class. All the elements are in the right place. This is a strong showing from Beringer.

From high on Spring Mountain, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Marston Vineyard reveals the floral and blueberry characteristics that are often a part of this microclimate, supple tannins and elegant fruit notes. Drink now-2028.
