NV Brut Extra Selection

Trouillard is based in the village of Hautvillers. Their NV Champagne Extra Selection Brut is a blend of roughly equal parts Pinot Noir, Meunier, and Chardonnay selected from 15 different vineyards located in the Marne Valley, Aube, and Montagne de Reims. On opening, it pours a bright straw hue and is fragrant with classic aromas of fresh baked bread, poached apples, and ripe mixed citrus. Approachable and supple on the palate, it offers a subtle, fine mousse and leads with its fruity and clean feel throughout. It’s quaffable and perfectly suited as an aperitif at parties. It will show its best over the near term. 7 grams per liter dosage. Disgorged May 2023.
