Bright yellow. Expressive aromas of apple and pear lifted by almond flower. Sweet but lively, with noteworthy energy and considerable personality to its fruit and mineral flavors. I like this style.

Bright pale yellow. Sappy, rather severe nose shows more menthol than primary fruit. Then rich but a bit youthfully disjointed in the mouth, with a slight bitterness to the yellow fruit and spice flavors. Juicy in the middle but currently rather aggressive on the back end. Latour says this still needs batonnage to give it more length.
