The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Marques de Casa Concha includes 8% Syrah, 4% Petit Verdot and 3% Carménère from Puente Alto, Maipo. It was aged for 18 months, 63% in French oak barrels and the rest in foudres . Dark garnet-red with a brick-dust sheen. The nose presents ripe notes of blackcurrant jam with hints of bay leaf and clove against an oaky backdrop. Compact on the palate with slightly dry tannins, the finish is redolent with ripe flavor. A red from a notably warm year.
