Tasting notes
From property located opposite Tertre Roteboeuf that recently changed hands, the 2019 Rochebelle exhibits aromas of sweet berries, mint, warm spices and licorice, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and succulent palate that's lively and charming. This shows some potential.

The 2019 Rochebelle did not come together as well as I had hoped. It is an attractive wine, yet it remains light in body and also a big vegetal.
Still one of the more under the radar classifieds in St Emilion, this has the grip and livewire energy of a true limestone-rooted wine, and it is delicious. Salinity, cocoa bean, chocolate shavings, cassis, bilberry, espresso, so much personality and grip. Highly recommended.
The 2019 Rochebelle is rather simple on the nose with light blackberry and seaweed aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, slightly grainy in texture with a harmonious finish. Enjoy over the next decade.
