Tasting notes
The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon is coy in the glass, mixing mentholated herbs with dried black cherries and nuances of spice. More textural than fruit forward, it washes across the palate with silken form while leaving a mineral and tannic crunch toward the close. This wine tapers off shorter than anticipated, leaving a tinge of black fruit and dark chocolate. Time in bottle should help unlock more depth, but until then, I remain conservative.

Impressive in red fruit, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon offers secondary aspects of cedar and clove, the tannins chalky and powerfully built, with a grippy finish. A full-bodied wine further strengthened by 6% Petit Verdot, 4% Merlot, and 4% Cabernet Franc, it should easily go another 10-12 years.
