The 2019 Mongrana is Querciabella's Sangiovese-based red blend from the Tuscan coast. Fresh berry fruit, spice and floral notes give this mid-weight red lovely vibrancy and energy. Aging in cement keeps the flavors lively. This charming coastal red has a ton to offer. And its a fabulous value.

This is soft and juicy with a lovely, velvety texture and plenty of berry and currant flavors. Hints of chocolate, too. It’s medium-to full-bodied with serious structure and a flavorful finish. Sangiovese, cabernet sauvignon and merlot. From organically grown grapes. Vegan. Drink from 2023.

Querciabella

Literally translating as “beautiful oak”, Querciabella was created in 1974 by Giuseppe Castiglioni. A pioneer in Chianti, he started farming biodynamically and experimenting with both varieties and winemaking – one result of which was Camartina, the property’s flagship Super Tuscan.
