Tasting notes
The 2019 Mongrana is Querciabella's Sangiovese-based red blend from the Tuscan coast. Fresh berry fruit, spice and floral notes give this mid-weight red lovely vibrancy and energy. Aging in cement keeps the flavors lively. This charming coastal red has a ton to offer. And its a fabulous value.

This is soft and juicy with a lovely, velvety texture and plenty of berry and currant flavors. Hints of chocolate, too. Itâs medium-to full-bodied with serious structure and a flavorful finish. Sangiovese, cabernet sauvignon and merlot. From organically grown grapes. Vegan. Drink from 2023.
About the producer

Literally translating as “beautiful oak”, Querciabella was created in 1974 by Giuseppe Castiglioni. A pioneer in Chianti, he started farming biodynamically and experimenting with both varieties and winemaking – one result of which was Camartina, the property’s flagship Super Tuscan.
