Score 90/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, May 2011
Dark red. Aromas of currant, blueberry, licorice and bitter chocolate, plus a whiff of tar. Densely packed and attractively sweet, with ripe acidity framing the dark berry flavors. A bit youthfully medicinal but in a relaxed, supple way. Finishes with well-buffered tannins and a lingering minty nuance. Nicely balanced cabernet.
