Score 87/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, May 2010
Bright medium red. Redcurrant, herbs, spicy underbrush and nutty oak on the nose. Offers good silky texture and intensity and a light touch, with strawberry and redcurrant fruit carrying a full load of oak-driven cola and spices. Finishes with sweeter tannins and more breadth than the basic Anderson Valley wine that preceded it.
