Tasting notes
A solid red with black and red currants, cedar and chocolate with hints of walnuts. Love the nose. It’s medium- to full-bodied with refined tannins and a juicy finish. Very long and beautiful. Last a long time in the mouth. 85% cabernet sauvignon and 15% cabernet franc. Drink or hold.

The 2015 Red Blend is 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc from Millahue, 65% aged for 24 months in new barrels. Garnet red in color. The nose offers black tea, black currant and elderberry with sweet spices from the aging process and layers of graphite and ash. Juicy on the palate with polished tannins, it gains in grip and displays a refined texture with a kick of fruit toward the end. This is a wine that’s getting serious; in fact, oenologist Cristian Vallejo calls this vintage “confirmation” of the stylistic choices he has made.
