Tasting notes
The 2016 The Glass Collection Cabernet Sauvignon offers many classic Cabernet aromas with elements of graphite, blackberries, cassis and blackcurrant before displaying dusty pepper and sage in the glass. Medium-bodied, the palate is clean and correct with a spicy core of fruit that balances its tannin structure and delightful complexity, ending with a lingering finish. 9,183 cases produced.

The 2016 Glass Collection Cabernet Sauvignon was matured in 15% new oak for 12 months. It has a little more mintiness on the nose compared to the previous vintage and is perhaps a touch more showy. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannin and plenty of tobacco-tinged black fruit, and quite saline toward the finish. This is a worthy follow-up to the 2015.
