Score 89/100 · Drink 2005-2012, Robert Parker, Aug 2005

The Pinot Noir is an exceptional effort reflecting the extraordinary talent of Adam Tolmach and his belief in single vineyard wines from the South Central Coast. The cool climate 2003 Pinot Noir Clos Pepe Vineyard offers an earthy, sweet perfume of black cherries, currants, and spice. It is tightly structured, with refreshing acidity, a certain leanness, but undeniable richness and power. This harmonious, youthful Pinot should evolve nicely over the next 5-7 years. Tel.
