Tasting notes
The 2024 "G" de Château Guiraud, which was bottled and had much more Sauvignon Blanc than usual, offers orchard fruit aromas mixed with grass clipping scents on the light but delineated nose. The palate is fresh on the entry with fine acidity, decent weight and depth, perhaps it just requires more nervosité on the finish. But this is a "capable" dry white from Guiraud.

Thoroughly enjoyable wine, although worth noting that Guiraud has now introduced a dry white wine in the range that sits above this one. The original is still great though - ripe but reserved, just at the right level of white peach and pear, tiny kick of fennel. A buy.
Lively with a touch of sparkle and brightness—orange, grapefruit, and some pineapple with a hint of lively acidity. Good quality and enjoyable, with accents of both ripe fruit and soft spices.
