2019 Big Basin Pinot Noir Lester Family Vineyard

The 2019 Pinot Noir Lester Family Vineyard is another attractive wine in this range. Here, too, stem character is quite pronounced, while the fruit is very much in the background. Sweet dried cherry, tobacco, mint and dried herbs all open with a bit of air. I would not push my luck on aging, as the Lester shows signs of fragility.
