Score 86/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Orange-salmon color. Aromas of strawberry and earth slightly muddled by SO2 Brisk, dry, fresh and rather understated, with subtle berry flavors. Slightly pinched on the finish, but not at all heavy. The '95 Brut Imperial is coarse and earthy by comparison.
