The 2019 Chablis Terroir de Courgis is superb, unwinding to reveal notions of green apple, white flowers, freshly baked bread, clear honey and iodine. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and concentrated, it's tightly wound, with real depth at the core and a long, saline finish. This gets my nod as Piuze's finest communal bottling this year, and it's one that will merit at least a few years' patience.

The 2019 Chablis "Terroir de Corgis" is well defined on the nose, with more floral scents, dandelion and jasmine developing in the glass. In the mouth, it is finely tuned with a lovely spicy midpalate. Ginger and lemongrass judiciously lace the satisfying finish. Excellent.
