Tasting notes
The wine’s dense ruby/purple color is followed by plenty of creme de cassis, spice box and licorice characteristics. Pure, full-bodied and opulent, this terrific Cabernet Sauvignon may be the finest Kosher wine I have ever tasted (including some of the special cuvees from Valandraud and Rollan de By in Bordeaux). Moreover, it should age for another 5-10 years. Jeff Morgan, in association with Leslie Rudd, produces this high quality Kosher wine that sets the bar extremely high for wines meant for religious observances. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, it finished at 14.4% alcohol. Tel. (707) 963-7385

Jeff Morgan's first Cabernet after leaving Long Island. Still dark crimson. Dusty nose. Sweet, luscious palate entry but not heavy. Nice fresh finish. Lively, appetising finish. Good lift. Not as much oak as the rest, bottled at 14 months. 100% new oak. (JR)
