90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petit Verdot, 2% Malbec. Black plum with a focus on plum skin and pit blended through with baking spice and a sprinkle of cocoa. Cocoa and chocolate liqueur become more apparent through the finish. Tactile tannins, moderate acidity. Decant upon opening. (ECB)

As for the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Chris’s Cuvee, it has good berry fruit and is medium-bodied. In the steep competition of this vintage, this fares sufficiently, but is hardly going to inspire. It is simple enough to drink now, unlike its rustic sibling. This should last for 7-8 years.
