2006 Kelly Fleming Cabernet Sauvignon

(15.4% alcohol; from fruit grown on the estate, which is located on Pickett Road near Araujo Estate) Good ruby-red. Complex aromas of boysenberry, eucalyptus, flowers, nutmeg, smoke and flint. Sweet, lush and chunky, with modest depth to its dark fruit and chocolate flavors. Finishes with slightly dry tannins and a touch of warmth. (My barrel sample of the 2007 had not yet integrated its new oak component and was impossible to assess with confidence.)
