2010 Salvestrin Cabernet Sauvignon Dr. Crane Vineyard

The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon offers a knock-out nose of black currants, camphor and a hint of spring flowers. I was blown away by the wine’s richness, purity, depth and dimension. There are just under 1,000 cases of this stunning Cabernet, which should drink well for 20+ years. It is a big time sleeper of the vintage. Salvestrin can boast multiple generations farming its vineyards since 1932, so this is by no means a newcomer to the Napa Valley wine scene.
