Score 91/100 · Drink 2020-2025, Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate, Jul 2020

The 2017 Zinfandel comes from 65-year-old vines and was aged 20 months in 40% new oak, some American and some French. Deep ruby-purple, it has a very pretty perfume of red cherries, mint chocolate, leather, potpourri and hints of stone fruits, revealing more nuance with time in the glass. The medium to full-bodied palate has a core of perfumed fruits, firm, grainy and fresh with a spicy finish. 550 cases produced.
