The 2017 Pinot Noir Sea View Ridge is deep, fleshy and expressive. Sweet spice and savory notes add an attractive upper register. Forward and silky, with soft contours and generous up-front fruit, the 2017 is an excellent choice for drinking now and over the next handful of years. Hints of orange zest, cedar and sweet pipe tobacco add the closing shades of nuance.
The 2017 Pinot Noir Seaview Ridge is pale to medium ruby with aromas of lush black cherries, baked cranberries, orange peel, warm dusty earth and rhubarb with hints of Earl Grey tea and a lovely spicy undercurrent. Very spicy in the mouth, it's light to medium-bodied and silky with seamlessly woven grainy tannins and a long, nuanced finish. 1,650 cases produced.
