The 2015 Meritaggio is a very pretty wine. Silky, perfumed and light on its feet, the 2015 is a gorgeous wine to drink now and over the next few years. This Sangiovese-based red is decidedly feminine and lithe in feel. Bright acids bring out those qualities even further.

The 2015 Meritaggio Estate is rich, ample and layered. Although the percentage of Sangiovese is back up in the 50% range, the inherent intensity and pure power of the vintage dominate. This is an unusually dark, almost inky Meritaggio. Red cherry, plum and unctuous, silky finish.
