Tasting notes
The 2010 Barolo Lecinquevigne is an excellent choice for drinking over the next few years. Orange peel, tobacco, mint and dried red cherries wrap around the palate in a soft, fruit-driven Barolo with plenty of near and medium-term appeal.

As its name suggests, the 2010 Barolo Lecinquevigne sees fruit sourced from five vineyard sites spread over various townships. The wine shows a light garnet color and very tight aromas of wild berry and bitter almond that need more time to evolve. It ages for two years in botte grande. There’s a pleasant earthy quality that gives nice dryness to the finish. It feels compact and tight in the mouth thanks the the firm nature of the tannins. Drink: 2016-2025.
