Done in neutral oak and a touch of stainless steel, the 2012 Chardonnay The Tributary Estate Vineyard is the most powerful of the Littorai Chardonnays. The impression is of real verticality in a structured, intense wine that will require patience. Hints of apricot pit, smoke, peach and spices wrap around the silky finish. The Tributary stands out for its balance of voluptuous fruit and pulsating acidity.
The 2012 Chardonnay The Tributary Estate Vineyard is easily the richest and most powerful of the Littorai Chardonnays. Nectarine, honey, almonds and spices all flesh out in a powerful, layered Chardonnay. The Tributary is a wine of pure texture and intensity. I can't wait to see how it ages. Sadly, there are just two barrels of this juice in the Littorai cellars.
