Tasting notes
The 2015 Chardonnay is a pretty wine, wafting from the glass with a delicate nose of lime cordial and blossom. On the palate, the wine is bright and pure, with racy acids and a clean finish, crafted in a rather minimalist style with only partial malolactic fermentation to privilege freshness and energy. 635 cases of this keenly priced cuvée were produced.

The 2015 Chardonnay is a pleasant wine that gives up most of its charms up front. Drink it over the next few years while the orchard fruit and floral notes retain their youthful vibrancy.
Coming from declassified lots of the Hilt Chardonnay, the 2015 Chardonnay offers of a clean, crisp style, medium-bodied richness and outstanding notes of spiced apples, citrus blossom and brioche. It's a terrific Chardonnay that's going to compete with wines that cost 2-3x its going rate. The Paring releases are made from declassified lots of Jonata and The Hilt. These are some of the best values out there and readers should snatch them up.
