The 2024 Lagrange is quite promising. Deep and vibrant in the glass, with terrific energy, Lagrange offers fine depth and plenty of harmony to match. Dark red cherry, spice, new leather, tobacco and incense resonate on the layered finish. Tasted two times.
Bright, chewy, and crisp, the fruits are vibrant, with sharpness, and definition, finishing with juicy, black with red currants in the endnote. Starting with the 2016 vintage, Lagrange has been on a hot streak! The wine is produced from 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, and 6% Petit Verdot. 13% ABV.
A wonderful Lagrange from this challenging vintage. This has excellent depth and complexity, showing vivid berry fruit, blackcurrants, tapenade, spices and minerals. Crunchy and succulent with medium to full body and a long, succulent finish. Real poise.
