The 2024 Dalem offers very good depth and fine overall balance. Ripe dark cherry, plum, mocha, new leather, chocolate, licorice and spice meld together on the glass. Pliant and creamy, with notable persistence, Dalem is very nicely done in 2024.
The 2024 Dalem has a perfumed, floral, Margaux-like bouquet with black cherry, raspberry coulis and violet scents. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins framing its black, slightly toasty fruit. Yet at least this Fronsac displays cohesion and poise on the finish. Drink it over the next decade.
Flowers, black cherries, licorice, and black raspberries, with a hint of spearmint in the nose create the scene. Medium-bodied, round, fruity, fresh, clean, and pure, the sweetness in the cherries, and plums in the finish are elegant, and fresh. With this much charm, you can enjoy it on release. The wine blends 90% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Malbec.
