Tasting notes
This has a lovely ample frame, once again, but it’s also hyper-fresh and gloriously energetic and fruity. The Sémillon brings a lovely pure peach fruit and lots of succulence with it. Apple skins. Confit lemon. White melon. A touch of passionflower too. Enticing and racy. Salivating in its sapidity.

Ripe citrus, exotic tropical fruits, and floral notes all emerge from the 2024 Clos Marsalette Blanc, a sweetly fruited, round, delicious, easy-going white that's going to shine right out of the gate.
A blend of 54% Sauvignon Blanc and 46% Sémillon, the Clos Marsalette 2024 Blanc emerges from the glass with aromas of pear, confit citrus and lime, followed by a medium-bodied, lively and incisive palate with an elegant core of fruit, leading to a citrusy, ethereal finish.
Cloves, eugenol, on the palate it fills out pretty quickly through the mid palate, quite clear apricot, lime, preserved citrus, good quality but this sample is a little oak heavy. Harvest 12 to 17 September. 20% new oak. 50 hl/ha. Arnaud Dessis technical director.
