Tasting notes
Quite floral. Rich and plump in the context of the vintage and impressively creamy. Nicely managed, this is not ample on the attack but not too strict either, the tannins reining in the plummy fruit and drawing it to the spine. Quite long with the tannins shading drier towards the finish.

Medium-bodied, open, and accessible, the wine is light, fresh, and fruity, with good energy in the cherries and red plums on the palate. You can enjoy this on release and over the near-term, for all of its fruits and freshness.
Chalky and crunchy, showing red berries and some chocolate. Medium-bodied with firm tannins. Chewy finish.
58% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petit Verdot. Cask sample. Red fruit with a touch of spice. Light with grainy tannins. Slightly drying finish. Early drinking. (JL)
