Led by a floral bouquet, 2024 Tertre Roteboeuf is very subtle and delicate with white flowers, tea leaves and a hint of white pepper. There is a beautiful transparency to the palate, with opulent, silky tannins that are surrounded by ripe darker berries. It is dense and concentrated, yet there’s a weightless quality to the palate. With a savoury finish that lingers for minutes, this is a very beautiful wine that will need a few years to show its full potential. Harvested at 35hl/ha, aged in 100% new oak and with 13.5% alcohol.

Tasted from multiple barrels, the 2024 Tertre Roteboeuf will easily be an outstanding wine, and it brings more richness and breadth than most. Ripe darker berries, framboise, and spicy wood notes all show on the nose, and it's a classic Mitjavile wine with its richer, layered, balanced, and fleshy style on the palate. As with all 2024s, it's not going to make you forget the recent slew of great vintages, but it's a solid success in the vintage that will offer ample pleasure with the clear signature of the château.

Deep garnet-purple colored. Needs a little swirling and coaxing to bring out notes of red currant jelly, kirsch, and fresh blackberries, leading to hints of sassafras, underbrush, and cinnamon stick. The medium-bodied palate is dense with ripe black and red berry flavors, supported by fine-grained tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long and opulent. Nice!

The 2024 Le Tertre Roteboeuf offers up aromas of ripe berries mingled with notions of cigar wrapper, espresso roast, orange zest, smoked meats and cloves. Medium to full-bodied, it's unusually rich and broad for the vintage, framed by oak tannins that assert themselves on the somewhat carnal finish.
