From a very coastal, cold site, the 2017 Chardonnay Platt Vineyard reveals a vivid gold hue as well as a stunning bouquet of crushed citrus, white flowers, flinty minerality, and hints of pineapple. Medium-bodied and elegant on the palate, it spent 20 months in 50% new French oak, but you'd never know it from tasting it. There are some special whites made in this vintage, and this is one of them.

The 2017 Chardonnay Platt Vineyard reveals pronounced grapefruit, green mango and fresh pear scants with nuances of honeyed toast, candied ginger, struck match and allspice. Medium-bodied, the palate delivers concentrated citrus and tropical fruit layers with a racy line of freshness and very long, mineral-tinged finish. 125 cases were made.
