Tasting notes
Made by Jean Hoefliger, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is upfront, fruit-loaded, and charming, with darker currants, plum, baking spice, and graphite nuances to go with a medium to full-bodied style on the palate. It's textured, has good mid-palate depth, and fine tannins. It shows the more focused, straight style of the vintage, with plenty of tannins, and it should keep nicely through 2028, if not longer.

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve ratchets up the intensity and has a great nose of ripe black fruits, tobacco, chocolate, and truffle, with spicy oak in the background. It's nicely concentrated and full-bodied, with supple, velvety tannins and a great finish, all making for a seriously delicious, high-quality Cabernet to drink over the coming 10-15 years.
A tight, focused red with medium body, fine and polished tannins and ripe-fruit and toasted-oak flavors. Some coffee, too. Lots of wood showing, but it’s not too aggravating. It will improve with age. Try after 2022.
