Tasting notes
From the Platt Vineyard in the Sonoma Coast and aged 16 months in 60% new French oak, the 2017 Pinot Noir Platt Vineyard sports a more ruby/purple color as well as a killer bouquet of spiced red currants, forest floor, sappy herbs, violets, and hints of salinity and ocean influence. Medium-bodied, silky and elegant, it's another gem from this cool, high elevation site that's just out by the Pacific Ocean but above the fog line.

Medium to deep ruby-purple in color, the 2017 Pinot Noir Platt Vineyard comes roaring out of the glass with vibrant Bing cherries, black raspberries, mulberries and red currant notes plus suggestions of dried herbs, underbrush, red roses and Ceylon tea. Medium-bodied, the palate sings of red and black fruits with tons of energy, framed by finely grained tannins and wonderful freshness, finishing long and layered. 250 cases produced.
