Tasting notes
Red and black fruits, peppery spice, underbrush, and chocolate notes all emerge from the 2022 Grenache Original Gangster. Medium to full-bodied and supple on the palate, it shows impressive concentration and was aged in used barrels. This is beautiful stuff. Drink over the coming decade.

Pott's 2022 Grenache Original Gangster Stagecoach Vineyard starts off with straightforward notes of cherries and raspberries, with some slight floral notes. It's medium to full-bodied, ripe, silky and long, adding complex hints of anise and Campari-like spices on the lingering finish. If you love Grenache, you really should try this example.
Aromas of raspberries, dark cherries, espresso beans and blueberry bush. The palate is medium-bodied with softly integrated tannins and bright acidity, giving flavors of rhubarb, Damson plums and spices. Generous and soft, with a powerful undertone. Drink or hold.
The 2022 Original Gangster is a potent, wild wine from Aaron Pott. Wild cherry, mint, blood orange and tobacco give this mid-weight Grenache an attractive exotic flair. Deep and nicely balanced, the 2022 turned out well.
