The 2014 Synchrony checks in as a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc and the balance Malbec, Merlot and Petit Verdot, all from the Stagecoach Vineyard, and spent 20 months in 85% new French oak. Notes of ripe blackcurrants, graphite, blueberries, and licorice emerge from this full-bodied, hugely concentrated, fruit-bomb that stays balanced, pure, and incredibly drinkable. Drink this blockbuster over the coming 15-20 years.

The 2014 Synchrony, a proprietary red blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc, 10% Malbec, and the rest Merlot and Petit Verdot from the Stagecoach Vineyard in Napa, is a gorgeously complex, sexy beast of a wine with an inky purple color, a glorious nose of red and black fruits, crushed rock, spring flowers and spice box. It is full-bodied, multi-dimensional and follows through with a tremendous power and authority. At the same time, there is a purity and elegance that are admirable. This is a gorgeous and creative blend to drink over the next 15-20 years.
The 2014 Red Blend Synchrony is the most accessible of the wines from Jan Krupp. Expressive floral notes give the red-toned fruit good aromatic lift and freshness. There is a good bit of underpinning structure, but also enough ripe, pliant fruit for the 2014 to drink well with minimal cellaring. Sweet red cherry, raspberry, cinnamon and leather add the closing shades of nuance.
