2016 Azienda Agricola Gianfranco Daino Daino Suber

The 2016 Rosso Suber is a blend of 50% Nero d'Avola, 30% Alicante and 20% Frappato that explodes from the glass with masses of ripe red and black fruits, balsam herbs and hints of white pepper. Its textures are silky-smooth, with a sweet display of cherry and hints of blueberry motivated by juicy acidity. This tapers off clean, lingering on balsamic spices. There’s a lot of pleasure to be found in this racy Rosso.
