2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard

The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Las Piedras Vineyard is a barrel sample, revealing a very deep purple-black color and relatively shy notes of crushed blueberries, red and black plums and black currants with hints of scorched earth, tree bark, garrigue and lavender. Full-bodied and quite restrained on the palate at this nascent stage, it gives a very firm, very fine-grained structure and a long, earthy finish.
