A delicious brut with hints of mineral, flint and dried apple, as well as pie crust and toast. It\'s medium-bodied with lots of energy and a crisp finish. Hints of bitter lemon and spiced pear. Some chalk, too. 3 years on less. It\'s 45% pinot meunier, 30% chardonnay and 25% pinot noir. 30% perpetual reserve in the blend. Disgorged July 2021. Dosage 8g/L. Drink now.
Plenty of fresh appley fruit gives this light and easy drinking Champagne immediate appeal, but the finish is a bit simple and short. Disgorged in December 2022. Drink now.
Light nose and rather sweet. Some astringency. (JR)
