Tasting notes
The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Mt. Veeder is one of the winery’s artisan series. This wine has a dense opaque, bluish purple color, gorgeous blueberry and black raspberry fruit, licorice, graphite, incense and is full-bodied and opulent. This is a stunner. Multi-layered and complex, this full-throttle Cabernet Sauvignon can be drunk now or cellared for 25-30 years.

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Mt. Veeder is superb. One of the most explosive, intensely aromatic wines in the range, the 2013 pulses with energy. Sweet rose petal, mint, red cherry, plum and pomegranate are all super-expressive in the glass. Bold, racy and opulent, but with tremendous supporting structure from the mountain tannin and acidity, the 2013 is a real head-turner.
