Tasting notes
The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Mount Veeder is pure class and shows the wild, mountain terroir of this appellation beautifully. Blue fruits, sage brush, wet stone-like minerality, and hints of dark chocolate all emerge from the glass, and it's rich, full-bodied, and concentrated, with a backward vibe that's going to reward bottle age.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Mount Veeder comes bounding out of the glass with gregarious notes of baked plums, blueberry preserves and blackcurrant cordial plus hints of mocha, tapenade, cinnamon stick and gingerbread. Full-bodied, concentrated and oh-so-spicy in the mouth, it has a firm texture of grainy tannins and background freshness, finishing on a lingering cinnamon toast note.
