An especially bright, brilliant gold color catches the eye before aromas of Anjou pear, sliced almonds and figs waft up from the glass. Full body backed by lively acidity make a great mouthfeel in this powerful, flavorful and handsomely oaky wine. Lemon-zest and marzipan notes mingle on the palate, while underlying acidity and a mineral quality bode well for aging. Best from 2024. Jim Gordon
This has such a succulent and fluid feel with aromas of white and yellow peaches, as well as spiced biscuits. The palate has a very fresh and succulent feel with bright, zipped-up, crunchy fruit with some soft, layered flavors. Drink now.
