Tasting notes
Very expressive, with a bit of resinous profile, the 2020 Chardonnay Cerise is with fresh pine, mango, and orange blossom. Full-bodied, with a round mouthfeel and a pithy texture in its notes of chamomile, toasted almond, and yellow apple, it’s broad and has a good, clean finish.

The 2020 Chardonnay Cerise Vineyard was harvested September 6-7 and matured for 15 months in 52% new French oak. It's closed and slightly sulfury on the nose, with a muddled core of apple fruit and cedary notes. The light-bodied palate is delicate with somewhat dilute, crunchy flavors, and it has generous baking spice on the creamy finish.
Displaying a lavish oak presence at the moment, this offers sweet pear flavors under all the butter, vanilla and nutty almond richness of a candy store
