The 2020 Les Genêts is crafted from 30-year-old vines and was vinified and matured in used 400-liters barrels. It possesses a floral, very elegant bouquet with aromas of spring flowers, lemon oil, verbena, lime tree leaves and orchard fruits, followed by a medium-bodied, crystalline and pure palate that segues into a pure, delicate finish with racy acids—an elegant Chenin Blanc.

The 2020 Les Genêts is a richly fruited wine with ripe notes, sweet oak vanillins and lees-derived pastry meeting honey and smoke. Medium to full in body with rounded edges and plentiful acidity providing a streak of firmness in combination with the sturdy line of acidity provided by the schistose terroir.
This 2020 Les Gênets is a powerful, citrus driven style that is almost affronting in its intensity and firm acidity. There's an Angostura bitter-like character that lingers on the tangy finish.
