Tasting notes
Partly sourced in the Osterberg Grand Cru (about 40%) and three other east-facing parcels next door, the 2015 Pinot Gris Réserve Personnelle opens with a very clear, fine and fresh—even coolish—nose. Bottled with 19 grams of residual sugar, the attack on the palate is fresh and piquant. There is a firm tannin grip and piquant acidity to balance the lush and slightly sweet texture. This Pinot Réserve needs years to find its balance, and it is not easy to tax its real quality today when the components are still side by side rather than melded together.

Intense aromas of hot stones and dried fruits such as mangoes follow through to a full body, lots of fruit and a tangy finish. Lovely mineral undertones. Drink now.
