Tasting notes
The 2017 Pinot Noir Windy Hill Vineyard has a pale to medium ruby color and scents of dried black cherries, loamy earth, crushed blueberries and Earl Grey tea leaves with notes of dried herbs, peppercorn and laurel plus an undercurrent of floral perfume. The palate is light to medium-bodied with a firm, pleasantly chalky texture, lifted red fruits and a long, very juicy finish.

The 2017 Pinot Noir Windy Hill Vineyard Estate Grown is soft and inviting, with lovely textural depth and nuance. Sweet red/purplish berry fruit, wild flowers, mint, licorice and lavender are all finely-knit in a floral inviting Pinot that will drink well with minimal cellaring. The 2017 turns just a bit slender on the finish, but it is nevertheless very pretty.
