Score 91/100 · Drink 2020-2030, Jeb Dunnuck, Jan 2020
More expensive, the 2017 Pinot Noir Dijon Blocks Estate Vineyard is a clonal selection that offers more sappy, floral notes as well as bright cherry and plum fruits, medium body, nicely integrated acidity, and a clean finish. It's certainly a more pure, seamless wine, and I suspect it will evolve for a decade.

Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, the 2017 Pinot Noir Dijon Blocks Estate Vineyard displays alluring red rose, black tea and warm cranberries scents with a core of Morello cherries, red plums and baked raspberries plus wafts of mossy bark and cracked black pepper. Medium-bodied and pleasantly chewy/savory in the mouth, it has beautiful restraint and a long, earthy finish.
