Tasting notes
Lots of tobacco leaf, damp earth, chocolate, and coffee notes as well as a rich core of black and blue fruits emerge from the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Limelight, which is full-bodied, concentrated, and structured on the palate. It has a touch more tannins than the Eclipse cuvée and is going to benefit from 4-5 years of bottle age. It's another terrific wine from this estate.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Black Diamond Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Limelight is a little closed to begin, giving way to crème de cassis, Black Forest cake, licorice, earth and cigar box with violets wafts. The palate is full-bodied, firm and grainy with a good intensity of black fruits, finishing long and earthy.
This offers a rich, slightly spicy and tarry nose with a wealth of ripe red plums and blackberries. Essence-like concentration and ripeness on the palate and a soft, fruity finish. Drink now.
