Score 92/100 · Drink 2021-2028, Josh Raynolds, Nov 2019

Limpid yellow. Fresh pear, peach, Meyer lemon, white flowers and a touch of smoky reduction on the pungent, mineral-tinged nose. Palate-staining citrus and orchard fruit flavors steadily put on weight and pick up fennel, ginger and honeysuckle nuances on the back half. Finishes on a strong pear note, with resonating mineral and floral qualities and strong persistence. These are extremely young vines, only planted in 2014, making this the inaugural vintage for the site. 20% new French oak.
