Tasting notes
The 2014 Stormy Weather (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) is a more ethereal, elegant Cabernet that has lots of purity in its crème de cassis, white flowers, toasted spices, and graphite aromas and flavors. Hitting the palate with medium to full body, silky tannins, and perfect balance, it’s one of those wines that grows on you with time in the glass. Drink it any time over the coming 15+ years.

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is deep garnet-purple colored and delivers notions of blackcurrant cordial, blackberries and plum preserves with touches of cedar chest, pencil lead, lavender and bay leaves plus a waft of cinnamon stick. Full-bodied, wonderfully rich, concentrated and plush, it has bags of vivacity and a long spicy finish.
The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon offers similar blue fruits as well as notes of forest floor, white chocolate and spring flowers. It too is full-bodied, nicely concentrated, and polished, with sweet tannin. It’s slightly more forward than the 2012, yet seems similarly concentrated.
